You may transport free of charge checked baggage up to a maximum weight of 15kg. while selected ATR flights may allow only 10kg free baggage allowance, subject to the limitations contained in our Terms and Conditions.
Only one (1) piece of baggage is allowed to be carried on board provided that it does not exceed the dimensions 56cm x 36cm x 23 cm and provided that it does not weigh more than 7kg or 5kg for selected ATR flights. Such baggage must fit under the seat in front of you or in an enclosed storage compartment in the cabin. Items determined by us to be of excessive weight or size of an offensive nature will not be permitted on-board.
What luggage items do I need to declare?
You will have to declare the following:
- Valuables
- Raw meat (to avoid food contamination)
- Fire arms and sharp objects
- Plants
- Live animals – must be coursed through our Cargo Services
What items are absolutely not allowed on the plane?
You cannot bring any of these dangerous goods:
- Inflammable liquids and solids (ex. Paint thinner)
- Corrosive materials (ex. Vinegar)
- Toxic and infectious substances (ex. Rat poison)
- Oxidizing materials
- Explosives
- Radioactive materials
- Compressed gases (ex. Aerosol cans)
I have fragile items in my check luggage. How can I make sure they’ll be safe?
Please inform the Cebu Pacific personnel who checks in your luggage to make sure that proper precautions are undertaken.
My luggage didn’t arrive with me. What will I do?
Immediately report your case to our ground personnel so they can assist you in filing an irregularity report while you are within airport premises.
What are the new aviation security measures to restrict Liquid, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs)?
LAGs taken through the screening point, must be carried in containers with a capacity no greater than 100ml. LAGs carried in partially filled containers larger than 100ml will not be accepted.
Containers must be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 liter. The containers must fit comfortably within the transparent bag, which must be completely closed.
Only 1 transparent re-sealable plastic bag will be permitted per guest.
The transparent re-sealable plastic bag must be presented separately for examination at the security screening point.
Exceptions will be made for medications, baby milk/ foods and special dietary requirements in LAGs form.
These items will be subjected to additional checks and verification at the screening point.
Exemptions will also be made for retail liquid items bought at the airport or on-board the aircraft and packed in sealed transparent temper-evident bags by the airport/ airline staff. The receipts shall be clearly displayed in the sealed bag and the date of purchase shall coincide with the date of travel.
